    "The score is now Adobe one, Macromedia one, customers zero," said Rob Burgess, chairman and CEO, Macromedia, in a prepared statement.

    IOW, Macromedia considers the customers are not worth bothering about. A wonderful statement, designed specifically to discourage new customers who can see that the company can get more money from Adobe than they can by selling their products. What a psychological faux pas!

      Actually, I think the Macromedia CEO is simply expressing his frustration with the legal battles.

      He wants to focus on helping customers, but he can't because Adobe is attacking his company, which - in turn - forces *him* to do the same to Adobe.

      That's how I interpreted his remarks.
