Audio Desync with G400 TV

Even with Matrox PC-VCR Remote the audio signal will desnyc within a few seconds of
video grabbing.

My system:
- Athlon 700 MHZ, EpoX KX7A Board
- sound: on-board with VIA Drivers
- WIN 98SE

What can I do?

"Even with"? More likely "Because of".

PC-VCR and most other capture programs don't lock down the frame rate to the NTSC or PAL standard 29.97 or 25 frames/sec. Also if a frame drop occurs they don't insert a copy of the previous frame to keep the count right and keep things in synch.

One program does: AVI_IO. It also can capture multiple 2 or 4 gig .avi's with no drops or synch loss between files. Great for capturing long segments that would otherwise be over the 2 gig/4 gig limits.
