With BeOS 5, alt.software's support for the Matrox has been enhanced to include support for OpenGL (G400 and G200) and video capture with the Rainbow Runner and Marvel with the G400 and G200 respectively. Currently the G400 driver provides limited dual monitor support, (which is being enhanced), as well as composite video support on the second video head.
What is amazing is that This is the most complete graphic driver for BeOS ever. It pushes the AppServer, the MediaServer, and BeGL to their limits. This driver suite for Matrox under Be is comparable to the quality of Matrox's own Windows drivers.
