divx out tv ¡?

Hi guys! im trying to watch some dvds and avi (divx) movies on my TV by using Tv out properties... It´s "preetty good" but not the best... I cant understand why when Im using Avid Cinema and I finish my home movies I can see them right well on tv (and no need to use TV OUT) and even when I 2click the .mov files that Avid cinema creat they can also be watched rigth well on tv!...
whats the answer of this mistery... any clue?

and the big question is: and so... Is it possible to see divx out by no using "TV OUT" option?

You didn't mention which card you are using, but for most Matrox cards PRR's DivXG400 program can be used to output DivX through DVDMax. You can get it at http://www.tac.ee/~prr/videoutils/
