I have tried several other software dvd players, and frankly i dont see the matrox player should be any better.
What would you guys recomend,- brand and version ?
No, it doesn't seem that the Matrox offering is optimised in any way. There have been loads of threads on this, with lots of suggestions for alternatives.
PowerDVD seems to be well regarded, although you'll find (as always) that everyone has their own idea.
