DV in a drive bay?

I seem to recall, a while back, someone here mentioning a mini-DV deck built to fit into a 5 1/4 inch drive bay. Anyone know anything about it?

Sony used to have one, I saw it in a B&H Photo catalog. If you go to their website and search for Sony DV should find it if its available.

Sorry I don't remember the model number but it was rather pricy so I lost intrest.

I have one, a Sony DRV-1000P. This is a DVCAM device. It will read mini-DV and DVCAM but will write only in DVCAM format, supposedly better and more reliable, but you get only 40 min on a 60 min DV tape. and this cannot be read with any DV-only device. It's a marvellous piece of equipment and I wouldn't be without it
