Dual Head / TV issues
The following problem occurs with both my Marvel in Dual mode (with TV) and my dual head G400 with a second monitor attached.
I now own a Philips 181AS flatpanel (analog) display. It works very nice. Syncing is done by simply hitting a button. It syncs perfectly to the G400 and Marvel when they are in single-head-mode.
But when I switch to dual head, the sync is never good. If a screen filled with text is displayed, you can see bands where the text is crisp, interleaved with bands where it is absolutely not. Clearly the sync coming from the G400/Marvel is no longer clean!
Anyone also experience this kind of problems? Solutions?
I wonder if the G450 also has this as it supposedly has a better second RAMDAC, although it still may be dependant on the same base clock.
