    Matrox RT.X10 + Nforce2 Mobo

Morning all! (atm here in Germany: 10:30)

have a question consider the Matrox RT.X10. A know this card need a good Mainboard.
Now i will buy a new PC in February. I looked for some good fast Mainboards, and the Nforce2-based Mainboard looks great.
Matrox doesn´t have the Nforce2 in the Compatibily-Site of the RT.X10

    Now my question:
Will the RT.X10 work with an Nforce2-based Mainboard? (hope so)
any of you who have a similar Configuration = RT.X10+Nforce2-based Mainboard?

    Thx all!

Matrox doesn't have Nforce based motherboards on their web site for a good reason.

    I suggest SIS or Intel.

I know the Nforce2-MB got a bad Availability. Read this in another Thread. Is that the reason which you addressed Elie?

I hope however someone got a Nforce2, which operates a RT.X10 without problems! Therefore I wrote also here in the forum.

      Greeting,
      Hawk

Yes you are correct Hawk, I was reffering the number of problems that plagued the Nforce chipset.

However, Nforce 2 sounds interesting, don't know how it runs on RT.X10 sorry.
