    this is great news..... now if ONLY MATROX HAD A GREAT GFX CARD THAT DID EXCELENT OGL..... then that nvidia pice of crap would not be the recomended gfx card .... .... ah well cant have your cake and eat it i supose .... but its great news any way

      Yes, uncompressed over firewire, very yummy indeed.

      The way things are starting to look now, I'd be surprised if Matrox ever releases a decent gfx card again.

          sad... .... i am trying my best not to give up on my trusty G550 ... but eventualy i will have to i guse

              I suffered with it for ~2 Years now... lol... A true bottleneck for my computer...

                  yeh me too .... but hay the G550 is still a heck of a card and i dont do much gaming.... once in a blue moon..... the only reason i would requier a good OGL card is for discreet combustion 2.... and now for the new Avid XP offering.... the problem is while othercards (nvidia, 2dlabs, ati) offer better OGL performance they do not offer the same kind of qulity 2 and 3 monitor performance as the matrox card... at least that is what i gather from the avid forums.... somthing about no full overlay on the second monitor with the other cards.....

                  as far as paying goes ... well i am still hoping to get a sponsor soon for my next film..... keep your finguers crosed for me Chrono_Wanderer i am getting desperate to make a ne film.... need to write the script first.... have three fully developed stories in my head but not on paper or pixel i desperatly need a writing partner....
