when I tried to follow the XP instructions on http://adis.szm.com/ for the 2.04.015c video tools, I got a message that I didn't have permission to set the registry blah blah.
when running 'regedit' on win2k, you can't set permissions on the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum, but when you run 'regedt32', you can select the key and then select 'security' on the menu and add the administrator as a user that can change the key.
after this, the tools installed fine when logged in as administrator and it looks like all is OK.
