    You can use PD 5.82.018.
It works very fine with G400-TV on WinXP.

You can find download link on my page http://adis.szm.com/

It's listed as final driver for G450eTV on Matrox Latest Drivers Page
but don't worry, you can use it normally with G400-TV.

        I'm using

        WinXPPro+SP1;
        Marvel G400-TV with PD 5.82.018/VT 2.04.015c;
        Latest system updates, DirectX,...

and have no problems except playing MMJPEG files on TV via DVDMax.
But when I want to play MMJPEG files I'm just switch to 24bit display mode before opening MMJPEG file and DVDMax works.

If you want to try this be carefully, so don't run capture programs in 24bit mode! System crashes!

I am using PD 5.82.018 and VT 2.04.015c (thanks adis )
          and have no problems.
I can cancapture & play MMJPEG to TV, but not in Ulead MSP7.0 from timeline. The scrubbing is ok to TV but not the preview.
If I try to create an MMJPEG file in VideoEditor, it works until the playback, than MSP7.0 crashes.
If I try to render an MMJPEG file with PICVideo compression than all works fine, even the playback. Everything.
The MMJPEG issue is not a serious problem for me, because I use to create the final video to SVCD-MPEG2 or DVD-MPEG output files, with no problems..

Just uncheck option "open file after rendering..." and it will be OK.

              adis,
yes, I know. As I said the MMJPEG files ARE created, and they play fine to TV but the PlayBack in MSP7.0 crashes. MP 6.4 don't crash, but reports an error.
I didn't disabled the playBack just for the tests sake.
I am satisfied vid PICVideo, so there is no reason to play with the MMJPEG. My 1.333MHz CPU is enough for that.
Anyway, the VT 2.04.015c is much better than my earlier 2.04.015- with reg-hack.

DualHead with 5.82.018 works fine on my system.

Problem is only with MMJPEG files.
Sometimes this files wan't play on TV via DVDMax.
But after switching to 24bit display mode video is played normally on my extTV.

On some games I was experienced problems with 5.39.019 and 5.88.061.
5.82.018 works very fine with all games.

5.82.018 is the best for me (XP).
                  5.39.019 is better in Win2K.

If I switch to 24 bits display I can't even start PC VCR or AVI_IO.
They work only in 16 bits display mode.
                    Media Player works.
I remember the early RR time when 24 bits display did not work, but 16 or 32 bits. Maybe I am wrong?

                      I forget to tell you,
Capturing is not possible in 24bit display mode.
Use 24bit mode only when You want to see mmjpeg video on TV or record it on the tape...

You can assign HotKeys for different display modes, so it's not the big problem.

I'm not using RR and never used it, so I don't know.

The capturing modes are 16 and 32.
Matrox advice using the 16 bit mode.
I always use 32 bit, with no problems.

                        Regards,

I never used other than Marvel G400 TV (except at my old job, we run only Matrox cards with AutoCad).

I've read the 24 bit things here:

                          And it sounds:
                          Q. Why is it that the Marvel G200 - Mystique G200 - Millennium G200 & RRG don't support 24 bit color palette?
                          A. In a 24 bit color palette there is no alpha channel. The alpha channel is require in order to support overlay modes. For example; RGBA or YUVA 16bit 4-4-4-4, 32bit 8-8-8-8
                          24bit 8-8-8 no alpha channel.
