Well, I think that you guys steered me clear of the IBMs. I did some more research and while the Samsungs are a little slower, they should be fast enough for me. Tom's Hardware did a review and they were pretty impressed with them and I built a machine for a friend with one and it was super silent. I figure that going from 2 on seperate IDE channels should be fast enough, atleast close to going back and forth to the same 2 40G Ultra100's on the same RAID0 controller. They were also the coolest running, least CPU intensive and quietest.
