Im editing a video with primarily video shot from a miniDV camera, but some of the footage is shot on Hi8, and im caputriing via marvel G400tv. I try and convert the files captured by the marvel to DV but when i output to the camera something with the interlacing gets messed up and they dont look good. Any suggestions on how to make this work better?

The field order is reversed in Matrox MJPeg vs. DV.
If you're using MSPro try setting the Field Options (up to MSP 6.5) or Media Source Options (MSP7) to field A for Matrox MJPeg files and see what happens.
