    Marvel, BOB and cable

t is possible to use a Marvel G200 without the BOB?
I have found a dead Marvel g200, without the breakout box. After a bios reprogramming, thanks to Grzegorz Mazur (http://grafi.ii.pw.edu.pl/gbm/matrox/biosrec.html) I tried to build a cable for tv-in/out following the cable pinout of Leon van Stuivenberg in (http://noomore.org/mga/).
This was ok for tv-out, but black screen on tv-input. Maybe some of the uncommented pin on the cable must be shorted/connected? Any suggestion?
Thanks very much to all for the help

The TV tuner is in the BOB so you probably aren't going to be able to bodge together something.

Otherwise it should work just fine as a common display adaptor.

Better yet, check eBay. I bought a replacement BOB for my G200 for $23 US, including shipping.

There's also a version of the BOB without a built-in tuner.
Resistance is futile - Microborg will assimilate you.
