      Why would they want Dazzle? Practically nothing they make works right! If they closed them down completely we'd probably all be better off!

              Sometimes companies don't buy competitors for their products, they are just interested in their (potential) customers. They just eliminate a choice for the customer and steer him right into the product they offer. See Oracle trying to acquire Peoplesoft and JDE. It's the same exact story. If they succeed they will drop development of Peoplesoft and JDE products and new customers will by Oracle's own software.
              I suspect Dazzle, even though not perfect, was selling enough in the low end to prevent Pinnacle from growing in that market segment.
