    Help with Ulead DVD Workshop

    Hi All,

    Most times I run Ulead DVD Workshop (with or without 1.3 patch) the prog. freezes after the splash screen appears.

    If I keep moving the mouse pointer (it appears) the prog. will run without problems.

    Any ideas?

      Whenever I see a graphics intensive program crash out when starting the things I think of first are;

      1. directX installation
      2. video card drivers
      3. program installation

      Other issues can be brought about by other software installations messing with the above or OS, but I usually start refreshing things in this order.

          Hi Doc,

          Thanks for your reply.
          You could be correct on all three. However I have yesterday installed DirectX 9 and the situation apperently has improved. I just have to wait and see.
