      The Raptor is a nice card and would work using those Premiere drivers, but MSPro6 is SO much easier to work with....

        I agree that MSP is easier to work with but it is limited to the LSX mpeg encoder plugin. The reason I would prefer Premiere is because of the many mpeg plugin encoders that are out.

        I am looking for the best quality VCD's I can make.
        According to http://www.vcdhelper.com , it's the encoders that have plugins for Premiere that are rated the best. Well, according to them anyway

          You're won't get Premiere version 5.1c to work with Pyro.

          But version 6.0 of Premiere should work fine.

          If you're determined to stay with Premiere 5.1c, then the DV Raptor by Canopus would be your best bet.
