Mpeg 2 encoding for e450
I currently own a Marvel G200 and a marvel G400 which both have the zoran mjpeg encoding chip on it. Will the new card have a hardware based chip that will do Mjpeg and Mp2 or will it depend on my cpu?

From what I've heard and read, this card will have no hardware MJPEG support and MPEG2 capture will be system CPU dependent. For full frame (ie. 704x576) PAL capture I think a PIII 800MHz + (or equivalent) is required otherwise only half frame captures will be operational.

Actually I think 704x480 MPEG-2 will need more like 900+ mhz.
