Need to record Close Caption
I am working with a Matrox video card and everything is working great, Except!!! I'm recording from a VHS tape with colse caption, and instead of recording it as a part of the movie it creates a text file. Anyway around this????

If your VCR is Closed Caption compatable enable it. Then it'll be in the captures.
Otherwise you're left with splicing the CC text into the video in your video editor. Not a very good option....

On a related subject, is there any known way to make the RR-G or Marvel generate the CC signal in the video output?
Maybe it's time to get on the Developer Relations page and see what they have...

Before I try to record the VCR is playing and you can see CC. But; when I try to record with the Matrox it disables the CC and turns and turns it into a text file. ???????????Originally posted by Dr Mordrid:
