Marvel e450 question

This one does compression in sw, no more MJPEG chip... sounds ideal for use with Huffyuv...

Will it support YUV or is this disabled like in the Marvel G400?

I think new MVT versions for the Marvel/RR-G and eTV will have YUY2 enabled.

RC = Release Candidate

IE the drivers have proved to be reliable on a majority of test platforms.

There's currently no news on a release date for the G450eTV, in fact Marketing have carefully avoided the question whenever I've asked

Well the board just sent to me is "beta" so that says to me it ain't gonna be real soon, 2 or 3 months I'd speculate.

Anyone know what the hold-up is? I saw a review of it dated last September that said it would be out late Q4 of 2000.
