    Drivers for RT.X10?

I just bought one of these second hand and it did not have any drivers with it. When trying to get them from the Matrox site it asks me for the serial number which is no longer on the card (previous owners must have removed it) before letting me download the drivers.

Does anyone know another place to get the drivers from? Also, I have been told that an RT.X10 can be turned into the extra version with updated drivers. Is this true or is the actual hardware different? Thanks

Yes, the hardware is identical, so just using the latest drivers will get you an extra version.
Did you get a copy of Premeire with it? It will only be a glorified capture card without it (ie, no realtime effects).
Also, the version of xtools you want will depend on wether you are using premiere pro or 6.0/6.5
You may have to contact Matrox to get the xtools, as it is almost a 300MB file
Yeah, well I'm gonna build my own lunar space lander! With blackjack aaaaannd Hookers! Actually, forget the space lander, and the blackjack. Ahhhh forget the whole thing!

I contacted Matrox and they wont give me the drivers without a serial number. I bought this product second hand and should be entitled to download drivers for it. I checked everywhere and the S/N is nowhere to be found. Where can I get a disk with drivers on it? Is any kind soul willing to burn a copy of their XT.10 Xtra CD and send it to me? I'll quite happilly cover costs. I already have Premiere but XP doesn't recognise the card. Can anyone help?

the serial number is on the card, all you have to do is register the card online and you will be allowed to download the drivers from the Matrox site even the new version when it is released.

That's just the problem. I bought the card second hand and there are no stickers with serial numbers on them. What can I do?

He doesn't want to know, saying it was sold "as is". I knew there were no drivers but I'm so used to downloading them (like my ATI drivers etc.) that I assumed it was straightforward. I can't believe Matrox wont give me the drivers to allow me to use their hardware which I purchased. Any suggestions anyone?

When you bought the card, it must of came with a CD with software right???????

Ther eshould be a utility to see what the serial number is, I will double check this.

                Regards,

Unfortunately not, if I had the software CD presumably the drivers would be on it and I would have no problems using the card. The previous owner said he took all the serial numbers off and stuck them on a card to keep them safe. Says he lost them along with the software CDs when he moved from Southampton to London. He wont give me his details to access the Matrox drivers page and can't remember where he originally bought it from.
