It does not really explain all the differences between the various flavours of PAL, NTSC or SECAM, but it gives a quite comprehensive list of the standard used by many countries around the globe.

Thanx for this information Michel although there are some errors.
For example in Poland TV system was changed from SECAM to PAL more than ten years ago if I'm not mistaken.

I suspect that's why he wrote VHF: SECAM D/PAL, UHF: SECAM K/PAL for Poland.
But you are right though, as he himself states, there may well be some inaccuracies or outdated infos.
