SVCD - DVD Rom will not read

Can anyone please help

Have made a SVCD and my DVD rom will not even recognise the disc. I have tried burning it on a gold disc and a blue disc. Both the same. Used Nero and it did not say it was not compliant. Everything seem to work ok. Used TMPEGenc to convert the file from MJPEG. I do not yet have a standalone DVD player so I cannot check it on that. My DVD Rom is a Samsung SD-606F.Any SVCD experts out there?

I have the same problem. My DVD drive is a Pioneer DVD-103R. It recognises VCD's OK, but when I created a SVCD I get the same as you - nothing. Maybe it's a driver issue? Anyone have any ideas?

I think this is the standalone compatibility list. My computer DVD Rom will not recognise the disc to even list the files. But my burner can.
