    My configuration:
    Matrox Marvel G200
    Win98
    Latest drivers, latest video tools

    I can't believe it !!!
    I finally found an old TV to preview my videos before outputting to VHS.
    But the image is BLACK&WHITE !!!!
    I use composite cable.
    When I run MATROX QUICK CONNECT i got color image ... so all is ok !!
    NO !!!! When I preview my videos i got bw image.
    When I output videos to VHS i got color images.
    Anybody could help me ????

    I have this problem with one of my cams (Sony Hi8).

    If the source device is a bit weak the G200's input amps can't bring it up to snuff and the image will go to B&W when you go to play it. The desktop image is also affected, but only at playback.

    Go pick up a cheap video preamp and attach it to your input line. Back when I was using the G200 a lot I got one in the US at a Radio Shack store for about $20 USD.

        Yes. The input signal is too weak to be output with color but works on the desktop.
