    Need 2 channels of audio

    Hello,

Someone gave me a wedding video to turn into a DVD. THere is only one channel of sound. Using MSP 7.2, how can I create a second channel? Essentially, I have a right channel and no left channel.

I assume I start by copying the audio and then put it on the Ab audio timeline.

    Thanks.

    Jon

In Audio Editor load the video clip and select "Edit/Convert to" and set the audio stream parameters you want. When it's finished save the new audio to a *.wav using a distinctive name.

In Video Editor split the audio & video then right-click the audio and choose "Replace with/Audio file" from the context menu. Now load in the newlly created "stereo" clip to replace the mono track. Poof.

If I'm doing this with long segments I often do all my conversions first, saving out new video + "stereo" clips to facilitate editing later.
