The last I heard was that it was delayed from Mar. 22, 2001 to "the end of March".

We'll find out tomorrow. I for one am getting very itchy to try this baby out....

Are you sure March ends with the beginning of April?

I am watching the TV and it's worthless.
If I switch it on it is even worse.

v 5.5.0.3 is currently around, maybe only bundled with OEM drives at the moment

Give these guys a break, they are probably at the CEBIT! And I've only seen 5.5.0.3 as an illegal and incomplete copy on some warez sites - nothing official.

I downloaded it from an ftp last week.
Full version, it's just one .exe original compressed file (5.5.0.3 ver).
No illegal copy, because it can just upgrade an older ver or install in demo mode, with the choice of register by serial number.
Mpeg-1 encoding for VCD is boundled, not Mpeg-2 for SVCD(to buy apart).
New support for CD-Extra and some other minor bug fixes.
It comes with Cover and Wave editor, plus a virtual cd drive (Nero Image Drive) that can handle .nrg image files such as real cd.
Cd-Speed and Drive speed is also boundled.
              Another great release from Ahead.

It's definitely not on Ahead's FTP server- if they don't release it for download yet, they'll probably have a reason. If somebody else puts it on an FTP server, that makes it an illegal copy...

Hacking original drivers is illegal, macrovision, hidden function and what you want, not a shareware demo.

It becomes a shareware demo as soon as Ahead declares it to be one - and they haven't done that yet. They haven't released it at all yet.
