    Entry-Level Adamation Real Time Editor

    It's entry level.

But it seems to be unique in that it's "software" real-time.

This seems to track along the lines of the new ULEAD VideoStudio 5's optimization for the Intel Pentium 4 processor.

Turn your life’s best moments into stunning movies with Corel VideoStudio! Get creative with drag-and-drop stylish templates, artistic filters, titles, transitions, and the whole palette of advanced editing tools. Get your FREE trial.

But where ULEAD only advertises *faster* transition rendering, the Adamation software claims to be *real time.*

Anybody care to comment on the advent of software-realtime products?

I'll let you know after I try the demo.

I'm interesting in a head-to-head comparison between the 2 products.

Real-time soft computing would be cool. I just wonder how the reality vs. theory turns out.

Ok, I tried the demo with some *.avi's I had laying around. It would not work with the RT-2000 codecs so using DV was impossible.

Had a couple of problems that were likely related to my not reading the manual but otherwise I'm impressed. Not too bad....even the (rather basic) 3D effects worked in realtime on my PIII/850 system.

          Thanks for the test, Doc.

My work system here is still running on Windows 98 and so I was unable to run the demo -

The system requirements specify Windows 98SE at a minimum.
