rainbow runner vs. pinnacle

which card is better for its money?? rainbow runner g-series or the pinnacle stuido PCTV. beside watch TV on my PC. I want to transfer some of my VHS tapes into digital format (AVI and/or VCD Format).

Oh, i forgot to mention, I'm using the G400MAX w/ p3-700@882 256mbRAM (pc133).

I don't know about NTSC and Win9x, but for PAL and Win2k, the PCTV is a POS

I use a PCTV-Rave under win98 with SIF and SVCD resolutions, and it works fine.
I only have problems with 768x576: some lines are horizontal displaced and sometimes get an Error 424, the almighty knows why.

Anyone an antidote ? Heard the line-mess has to do with PCI-timing.

thanks. I think I will get the pinnacle studio pctv. I just hope it will be worth getting. heheheh! anything I should be looking oout for when installing the hardware???
