    Alternative to Matrox DVD Player?

I use the bundled Matrox DVD player with my Marvel, but it doesn't seem to recognise SVCD's.

I have downloaded a trial for PowerDVD but it doesn't like my screen settings (always wants me to reduce to 256 colour).

What SOFTWARE DVD player are other Marvel users using successfully to play SVCD's?

WinDVD 2.3 plays SVCD disks that I've made. It doesn't seem to recognize them with autoinsert, but manually starting WinDVD and choosing Open, Play, Disk works for me.

Neither Cinemaster (basis of Matrox DVD player) nor PowerDVD in there current versions support SVCD as far as I can tell.

Thanks Wally. I'll give it a try.
