    Ulead DVD question

    I currently have PowerDVD installed, if I put MSP 6.0 in it won't mess up any part of PowerDVD will it? like replacing the MPEG-2 decoder etc. Are they even optional in the install? I'm too scared to check becuase it's been a while since i got my setup to be stable .

      MSPro's MPEG encoder is internal and not installed as a system resource.

          Hmm, I don't know. It totally screwed my NT machine that had a Sigma Designs DVR when I tried to install it. MSPro6 and the DVR could not co-exist on the same machine, neither would even run, so it must have done something to the system.

              Dunno. Don't use realtime MPEG hardware except for the G450 eTV, and it coexists with about everything, including MSPro, VideoStudio & Premiere6 all on the same system.
