Is VS 9 any good? Can I do everything I do in Premiere 6.5 in VS 9?

No, it's not a multi-overlay track editor like MSPro or Premiere. That said there are things it can do that leaves Premiere and many higher end editors spinning in the dust, at least until MSPro 8 comes out
