Ok, I have some good rips, then when I go and put them on another machine they can't play them.

I got the Ligos MPEG Video Decoder codecs from their website, but apparently that doesn't work. Iv tried it on another machine too.

Im wondering, when I rip stuff, how do I change the codec I want to use?
Mainly so that I can send out my videos and people can actually view them.
