InterVideo Stock Takes a Hit!

"InterVideo Inc. said Wednesday it swung to a second-quarter profit from a year-ago loss, but the digital audio and video software provider issued third-quarter guidance below Wall Street expectations, sending shares plunging nearly 15 percent in the aftermarket session."

I would be willing to bet they'll bounce back.

Their software is great.

Most multimedia s/w stocks are taking a hit, even Avid was down a similar amount. Two reasons I see;

1. too high estimates by the analysts

2. weakening volume

#2 is a cyclical thing while #1 is endemic to the current crop of analyists. Can't do much about them
