Does anybody know of any freeware MPEG-2 Encoders?

New version has been released recently. To get excellent quality, increase motion vectors to 10 pixels per frame.
See explanations in the help file.

      Thanks for the info.
I downloaded it last night, unfortunately I didn't have enough spare time last night to give it a try. This weekend I should have the time to try it

Brent has done a superb job on this program. The only problem I've run into so far is that when concatenating long AVIs into a single MPEG-2 file, the audio goes out of sync. Brent is currently working to fix this and will hopefully have it corrected before too long. Otherwise, it does a fantastic job and IMHO at least equals the quality of LSX 2.51.
