    Too bad it's almost 11pm and the only thing to take pictures of are my animals. So here are two pics of my cat...

      Sharp indeed - interesting to see the very small DOF on the first pic.


      What lens, aperture and Iso values were you using for that shot?

      Not critisizing at all, but am just interested to compare to results with older technology like with the lowly Olympus C2000 and seeing technology at work - basically the same shot of a cat.

        both pics: 1/60 - F/4 - ISO 400 - 18MM - Macro

        The camera was set to Auto/Macro.

        Lesn is the kit lens that comes with the camera: EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 Lens

          Cool. After you get used to the camera, start learning the manual modes to get the best out of it.
