    Animated lightning (most assuredly NOT dial-up friendly)

    Played around with making animated gifs from some video clips of lightning and got some ok results:

          Hehe, sweet.

          I got some footage (3 hrs) of a very long lightning storm here last year...lasted nearly 9 hours...

          I found it very interesting to see how and where the lightening begins, and the path it follows. Great stuff!!!
