They refused to give me a refund as they had the 'original' TIFFs. They gave me a cd of TIFFs and Infranview reported them as a 24bit TIFF but when I analysed the files with JPEGsnoop it reported that the files had a compression ratio of 13:1 and were only 1.81bit. The program also reported that the files had been post processed using Adobe Photoshop.

Once they saw the report they very quickly gave me my money back.

        Thanks guys
