I'd take this as a good sign. Well I hope so anyway as I'm probably going to buy one in the near future!

Hi SteveC,
Nice to receive some answer after a couple of days of waiting.
The Epox 8K7A seems to be a nice board, based on the same chipset like the Asus A7M266 (the AMD 761) but the Epox is a cheaper board.
Nice reviews and a lot of people are satisfied with it.
BUT, some reported issues make me confused, uncertain.
The 8K7A+ is a Raid board with the HighPoint370 chip, not the best one.
People reported boot issues with LPT printers attached.
Someone reported that Epox fixed this, by changing some transistor on the newest boards.
No other issues reported.
Actually, I can’t decide, yet, which one to go with, the Asus A7M266 or the Epox 8K7A+ ?

Funny - My choices were between the Epox 8K7A+ and the Gigabyte 7DXR. They both seem very similar boards (The Asus didn't seem to fare well on overclocking) but the Gigabyte is impossible to find.

I'm not too worried about RAID as I'll probably never use it, although I'll still get the + version just in case

There's a comparison (not great I might add, but still worth a quick read) over on tomshardware between some AMD 760 boards as well as reviews on athlonoc.com, amdmb.com and elsewhere.
