Accelerator 6000 se breaks DUN?!

Since installing smartalec's accelerator 6000 se (I probably shouldn't have - slow mornings and curiosity strike again...), I have been having terrible difficulties with dial-up networking. While I can establish a connection to my ISP as per normal (that is, logon is negotiated and the taskbar icon appears), I cannot send or receive e-mail, FTP or reach web-pages. Uninstalling does not seem to help. Any ideas?

Ummm ... any firewalls running? I had similar probs, even repaired Win2K twice only to find out that my firewall was screwed up ... check for ad blocking/filtering/firewall proggies running.
