vmware in DirectDraw

Has anyone been able to run vmware in DirectDraw mode ?

I've got PD 5.33 installed and all I get is a nasty crash ..

Try out Virtual PC. Much easier to use, I use it

I tried PD5.52 and 5.71beta with the same result (=crash).

Noticed also that WinTV won't run with these later drivers .. I guess it's the old "newer isn't always better" thing .. Luckily PD5.33 is sufficient for my use.
