Well apart from reviving the issue, i have tried to uninstall and re-install ACDSee + + +etc did not help, so i re-installed Win2k ontop of the old installation, again did not help either, i am bout to install the SPs 1+2 again to see if that will help, evn though i don't think so... i'm just dreading having to clean install win2k again... setting all the hardware was abit of a pain !

I have asked you this before and I'll ask you again! Could you PLEASE POST your SYSTEM SPECS and IRQ list?
According to the latest official figures, 43% of all statistics are totally worthless...

Could the VT be the culprit ? would it make sense ? Things seemed kind of alright after i uninstalled VT [ from the leaked set of drivers ] but things got a bit quirky after i re-installed it... could not quite detirmine if it is the main cause... watcha guys think ?

COuld the fact that i am OC'ing be the cause.... ? I'm running a P2b MOBO with a PIII 800/133 @ 133Mhz bus speed ? Could that be the cause ?

Should be no problem to back the FSB down to 100MHz and see...

depending on the revision of your MoBo, that 133MHz FSB setting might be only 110MHz ... what is your actual CPU clock readout ?

And yes, afaik there are only a few P2B boards that offer the proper dividers for running at 133MHz FSB while keeping your AGP and PCI bus in spec.

Like EchoWars already said, try at 100MHz FSB and tell us what gives.

Also it might be wise to use Matrox' uninstaller and switch back to official drivers.
