        Despite not liking VIA that much, the performance numbers are impressive. I´ve never seen such a boost with only a chipset change (same cpu, same bus, same memory standard).

        I wonder what´s the catch on it, though.

        (Bet 10:1 how it will require a patch/new 4.1/bios hacking to get it work with the Sound Blaster Audigy and 50% of the motherboards will have troubles with Radeon 8500 )

        What I would really like to see was a revamped AMD 760 with that performance.

          Reading Nunos p-ost makes me realize why I stick with Asus. I have owned 4 Asus(via chipset) boards now and minimal problems.

            The others are quite OK to (ABIT, MSI, Epox...) but I'm afraid there is a good point in Nuno's reply.

            The two products he mentioned, KT266A+SB Audigy is the biggest threat to nvidia, just let's see if they only work toghether first.
