    program to resize/compress some hundred pics?

    I have some hundred high-res pictures sitting on my harddisc at the moment and need to create some different version (size does matter ) of them.

    Can somebody suggest a tool that can resize and compress them (jpg) automatically?

    thanks,

    IfranView32 does batch resize/resample & format changes. I use it all the time with very good results. Just make sure you also download and install the plugins that go with it;

      Jasc software also offers Image Robot addon to their Paint Shop Pro, which can do it, too.
      Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

          ACDSee, which is IMHO about a million times better than Irfan's offerings, can do this as well... I forget whether I had to get an add-on to do so, though.
