Yes becuase the midi interface I'm using is a separate unit. It has 2 in and 4 outs. I'm not using the crappy interface that comes with just 1 in and 1 out on the sound cards.

Jorden, is your ADSL modem a USB? If so, then your problem is the manufacturers, not MS. NT/XP are more strict about memory access than 9x kernels, and the hacks USB modems used in 9x don't work in NT kernels. There <I>are</I> correct ways to write such drivers, and MS warned the mfrs long ago that they would need to watch for this on XP.

Rags, I wasn't whining that I couldn't get DOS games working in Win2K. I was merely stating what I found when I tried to run them. I DO have an old system to run DOS games - the Celeron 466 (with a Matrox Millennium ) I mentioned.

Hmmm... Millenium Goodness.

I have a 4MB Millenium II that I picked up from a trade in that came into the shop the other day.

It only took about 3 minutes from when I recognized the card to when it replaced the 32MB ATI Rage 128 GL that was in my workstation on my workbench.

All I can say is...

My eyes and this poor monitor have never been happier or clearer since I set it up.

I would answer that but the G400 and G450 and G550 Cards have never been seen by my eyes. (In Person) so I don't have a comparison..

I would have to say that the Millenium II is better than my G200 I used to have... and I thought the G200 was the bees knees

I had a G200 before. I find the G400 slightly better than the G200, mostly in color vividness and saturation.
