    GF3 Ti owners, esp Leadtek...

So, how are the cards? I'm really only interested image quality. I know the card is fast, but if it looks like sh*t I'm not interested.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

Turns out that all the GF3 Titaniums are adequate... meaning on par with the Kyro2, and a tossup between them and a Radeon. The Leadtek is supposedly as nice as a G400, but I haven't seen one personally. The generic I bought was just fine though. (Visiontek, not technically generic!)

Of course, ask me about the Detonator XP drivers... go on, ask.

Hey, Gurm! What do you think about the Detonator XP drivers?

Hehe. They're ok, a wee bit unstable as compared to the previous sets (12.xx), but they interact with Creative's latest Audigy XP drivers to create BAD_POOL_CALLER bluescreens. Urk!

Additionally, unless you get VIA's patch, or manually patch register 55 (95 for 266 boards) bits 6,7, and 8 (set them to 0), it will crap out with infinite loops in nv4_disp.dll - way to go, nvidia!

With the Via patch they still crap out. Again it's not just creative combo that causes the problem.
