Ever tried to get a sulking zonealarm to work. You network card has changed do you want to give it access. Yes well you can't and I won't change my mind.
Or someone rang up the helpdesk. I can't get my internet to work.
Have you got zonealarm installed. yes. Can you disable it? I ain't technically minded. Okay uninstall it from add remove programs. Right I'll try that. Minutes later phone goes I've uninstalled it and I can't still get Internet access.
When the bring the laptop in theres no sign of zonealarm running it's not in the add remove programs however sitting on the hard drive is the directory. A quick delete and the internet springs into life.
