      It's a program provided by MS for increasing the security of the desktop on 9x machines. Dunno if it works on ME.
      basically you can stop little tinkers from messing there win9x up unless they're major tinkerers and they'll know they can get around it.

        Its a Directory based policy editor used for administering security and administration policies on Windows platforms. I imagine Novell's NDS (now called eDirectory) offers similar and more robust policy management but I haven't looked into this in several years.
