Xabre 400 is a tough competitor in Mainstream class... it is only Mainstream card with DX8.1 compliancy (supports PS 1.3 and VS 1.1, but latter one is done with software.)

and in some initial benches I have seen.. it cleary wins GF4MX440.
we can only guess how fast the faster Xabre 800 will be, but it looks like it would be competiting against at least GF4MX460 and maybe even Radeon 8500 LE.

I predict this could mean a price war in Mainstream cards, because SIS has known for agressive pricing strategy.
