Installed it on W2K machine.
Is it in fact new or just a redistribution package??? - DXdiag still reports version 8.1 (4.08.01.901).
The install process also gives the option "re-install DirectX" iso the expected "update" or "upgrade"
Cant see any change in the behaviour of the e450TV or the Miro DV Plus or the DV500 - all still running as before and as expectedLawrenceComment

Installing this version on my Win98SE machine which already had DX8.1 installed changed the DX from 4.08.01.0881 to 4.08.01.0901
Feels like an extra couple of bunnies under the hood now.

i got .0810 but i dont think it installed correctly. i click on install and a sec later it says: installed succesfully
