Which quality 17 inch monitor for a G400Max?

I've got an Eizo F55 at home that's on its last legs after 5 years, but it was pretty good in its day.

I'm deeply impressed by my Iiyama VMPro 410 and would reccomend all but the bottom of the range Iiyama's.
A lot of others in here swear by Cornerstones, although they seem to be hard to get hold of outside the USA.

Ok, that's a HUGE problem. The LG795FT+ is priced at about 330$ while for ~ 500$ you can buy a 915FT+, wich is a really good 19'.

Maybe you should consider the idea of buying it on-line and have it sent to you from another state?

775 is
Max res 1280 *1024 @ 60Hz
Best res 1024 * 768 @ 85Hz

795 is
Max res 1600 * 1200 @ 75Hz
Best res 1280 * 1024 @ 85Hz

You can try the Eizo F520, it's a very good 17" screen. At least it does very well with my G400max. It's also the cheapest 17" Eizo manufactures...

PAugustin - is the Eizo F520 a flat screen? Eizo's Australian site is a bit ... strange. Haven't found a retailer for them yet and they don't respond to my emails. <sigh>

No F520 is not flat but it offers a very good image and sharp colors. Maybe you should check a newer model, they have flat screens also.

Uhmm...if you really want it, it's not a problem. No charity here

However, as I am a bit lazy, you must do a bit by yourself to:

1) Make a money convertion to see if it' cheaper for you
2) Find out how do you want I send it to Australia
3) Make some sums to see if even with the monitor price + the courier cost the total is affordable for you
4) Find a way to send money to me (after or before, not a problem here)

If you find those solutions, I will go to buy the monitor for yourself and send it

I've done a bit of investigating Driz, and it's all just too complicated. Damnable red tape! Besides I think it would end up costing too much.
